24k gold and 99.9% pure silver are used to create the intricate geometric pattern within this marble. Repeating triangles collide with radiant starburst forms, while the precious metals produce shifting tones of aqua, blue, green and gold depending on the angle and light. The layered pattern wraps through the piece, giving it a striking sense of depth and structure.

Jared Omas / KRO Glass

Glass artist and co-owner of Passage Gallery, working at the torch in borosilicate. Known for fumed marbles built with 24K gold and silver, air-trap wormholes and honeycomb millefiori, and sculptural mushroom clusters in iridescent earth tones. Teaches every glass class in the studio, usually to people who arrived certain they weren't creative.
