A deep blue and gold dichroic vortex spirals inward, its fragmented metallic surface catching flashes of electric blue, violet and warm gold. The pattern tightens dramatically toward the center, creating the illusion of being pulled deep into the marble.

Jared Omas / KRO Glass
Glass artist and co-owner of Passage Gallery, working at the torch in borosilicate. Known for fumed marbles built with 24K gold and silver, air-trap wormholes and honeycomb millefiori, and sculptural mushroom clusters in iridescent earth tones. Teaches every glass class in the studio, usually to people who arrived certain they weren't creative.
