Gold and silver fuming sweeps around the face in broad concentric strokes, giving the piece the appearance of an enormous eye. The reverse opens into black glass scattered with crushed opal, with larger fragments suspended above like broken prisms.

Jared Omas / KRO Glass
Glass artist and co-owner of Passage Gallery, working at the torch in borosilicate. Known for fumed marbles built with 24K gold and silver, air-trap wormholes and honeycomb millefiori, and sculptural mushroom clusters in iridescent earth tones. Teaches every glass class in the studio, usually to people who arrived certain they weren't creative.
