24K gold and 99.9% silver fume worked into an air-trap wormhole, so the trapped air reads as a channel of light running down into the centre of the marble. Turn it and the fumed metals shift between warm amber and cool silver against the clear glass.

Jared Omas / KRO Glass
Glass artist and co-owner of Passage Gallery, working at the torch in borosilicate. Known for fumed marbles built with 24K gold and silver, air-trap wormholes and honeycomb millefiori, and sculptural mushroom clusters in iridescent earth tones. Teaches every glass class in the studio, usually to people who arrived certain they weren't creative.
